In an effort to give more transparency to the uploads process, Appeagle has changed the way that Uploads are processed. This change was implemented in order to allow users to more clearly gauge the success of any given upload.
With our new upload system, we include a new error type: “Completed with errors”. If you receive a “Completed with errors” message, you can download the error file for your upload which will clearly indicate the number of lines successfully updated and the number of errors within the upload. This file will also contain a detailed breakdown line by line of the errors.
New error types include:
- SKU not found - When a SKU in your upload does not exist in Appeagle.
- MARKETPLACE_ID not found - When the Marketplace ID does not match any marketplace in your Appeagle account.
- STRATEGY_ID not found - When a strategy ID does not match a strategy in your Appeagle account.
NOTE: Because the new processor requires SKU for all templates, “Update Group Inventory” has been deprecated. Group Inventory can still be updated using our “All Available Fields” template.
Below are a few examples of what new upload errors will look like on your Uploads Page. You can download the error file directly from the Uploads page.
UPLOAD ERROR: SKU NOT FOUND
One of the most common errors is "SKU not found". This means the SKU on that line was not found within your Appeagle account and therefore, the changes from your upload could not be applied to that SKU. “SKU not found” errors will not prevent your file from completely failing, and any SKU that does exist in your Appeagle account will be updated accordingly.
If you see the SKUs that were not found in your account, and they are Live in your Amazon account with inventory, we suggest taking a look at your most recent Active Listings Report from Amazon. A SKU must be included within this report with a quantity greater than 0 for it to be pulled into Appeagle.
Finding my Amazon Inventory Reports:
You can see these reports by going to the Inventory Reports section of your Seller Central account, accessible by clicking Inventory on the menu bar and selecting Inventory Reports. You can make a request for a new Active Listings Report or download a previously generated one. FBA users will need to check the Amazon-fulfilled Inventory Report to ensure they are reporting over a quantity more than 0 for a SKU.
IMPORTANT: If you find a SKU within this report that is Live on the listings page with inventory but not in Appeagle please contact Support@appeagle.com with the SKU in question and we'd be happy to take a deeper look.
Don’t forget: Any SKU’s NOT included in the error file will have had the changes from the upload applied successfully.
Turning off email notifications:
Currently, you will receive an email every time an upload file completes, but has any errors. If you do not wish to receive an email every time a file competes uploading but has errors, you can turn off these emails on the Profile page of your account.
If you choose to disable this email, you will only receive an email when your file fails in its entirety.
