Algorithmic Repricing A procedure-based repricing strategy that offers a specific goal. This varies from a "custom strategy" by being less tailored and more automated. Our Algorithmic Repricing Option is Get The Buy Box.
ASIN The Amazon Standard Identification Number (ASIN) is an alphanumeric ID code generated by Amazon. An ASIN is specific to an item type and can be a parent ID for a multi-variation listing.

Buy Box

The box on a product detail page where customers can begin the purchasing process by adding items to their shopping carts. Amazon can highlight a specific seller by giving them Buy Box ownership, which essentially tells the shopper that this seller has the best offer. These sellers must meet performance-based requirements to be eligible to compete for Buy Box placement. For many sellers, Buy Box placement can lead to increased sales.
Competition Other sellers on the offer page listing the same item as you. For each item, we will only view one other seller at a time as a potential competitor. Appeagle offers many ways to narrow the scope of whom you would like to compete against within your strategy.
Continuous Repricing This describes the frequency in which we can send and receive data from Amazon. We can retrieve updated competition information on a minute-to-minute basis. However, the time that is required for each change we send to Amazon to be processed and made live can take anywhere from 5-15 minutes.
FBA The Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) program allows sellers to have their items stored and shipped from Amazon's warehousing facilities. Because of this, these items are generally preferred for Buy Box Placement.
Featured Merchant Merchants who sell items that are Buy Box eligible. These sellers must maintain high-performance levels in order to retain the status of "Buy Box Eligible".
Group The Groups feature allows you to combine your listings so they share one universal amount of available inventory. You can give your group a custom name for organizational purposes.Sales for any listings assigned to a group will be deducted from the group quantity.
Handling Time The amount of time between when payment is received and when the seller physically puts the item in the mail. Sellers can indicate this duration of time in Appeagle when Quantity Sync is enabled.

Hosted File

If you would like to integrate files into your account from outside of our software, we automate the process by hosting the upload file on your own server once you provide us with the public URL.

Inactive

A type of status a listing can have within your marketplace. An Inactive listing is either "Deleted", "Out of Stock", or "Unmanaged".

Managed

When you first add your marketplace to Appeagle, the status of your listings will be "Managed". You can set any listing to "Unmanaged" to prevent repricing.
Manual Price  A manual price is a static price that you can set for your item. When a manual price is set, no price revisions will be sent to the marketplace. Automatic repricing will begin again once the manual price is removed.
MAP Price The MAP price feature is specific to the Amazon marketplace. Manufacturers may require sellers to advertise their items at a price that they set called the Manufacturer Advertised Price (MAP). Sellers can get around this requirement by displaying a hidden price and requiring the buyer to add the item to their carts before being able to see the actual price.
Min/Max Prices The "Min Price" field is required in order for repricing to occur where you specify the lowest TOTAL price you are willing to sell your item for. The "Max Price" field is optional where you specify the highest TOTAL price you are willing to sell your item for. We will never go below or above your set parameters.
Price Above  A rule within a strategy that allows you to specify a percentage or monetary amount that you want to be higher than your current competitor by. For example, if your rule was "Price Above $2", you would be priced $2 higher than your competitor.
